The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Jagiellonian University Collegium Museum Collegium Maius. It aims to show that mathematics and physics need not be boring subjects involving gruelling study of multitudes of incomprehensible formulas or memorising exact definitions. The exhibition Old and new sciences will allow attendees to make use of their imagination and carry out experiments, which will allow them to learn more about the world and its laws. The organisers prepared more than 40 stands, where one will be able to perform a scientific experiment or use a copy of an old mathematics or astronomical device. The exhibition will be hoster in the Droginia manor in Wygiełzdów from 31 March to 10 June 2023.
